Harvest time is upon us and it is time to reap and share the bounty of the summer rays and the stellar talent that Seattle has to offer!  Thee Cornucopia Cabaret is a mash of Seattle talents as never seen before!!!

Mark Pickerel and his Praying Hands,  whose vocals are often compared to Nick Cave, Chris Issak and Tom Waits and his music conjuring up David Lynch or “songs that might be played at Tim Burton Hight School Prom ” will be playing a set and will be joined by Poppy Daze of the Aerialistas on a hoop, burlesque dancers; The Shanghai Pearl and Belle Cozette.  Some good rockin soul by the The Basements – Kurt Bloch, Jim Sangster, Drew Church and vocals by the charming Carmella will be joined by El Vez who will be doing a lap dance for the kids so BRING your DOLLARS!!!!!

How else do you round out this line up but with Waxie Moon the manlesque sensation and the Kung Faux acrobatics of the boy wonders themselves NANDA in a full half hour set! Michael Musburger and I will be performing our duet ” History of the Beat” and who else could serve as the ring master for this cornucopia of madness?? No one other that Scotty the Blue Bunny the 6 foot man in skin tight bunny suit with Rabbit attitude a Mile high!

Clearly a night you don’t want to miss not just because of this crazy line up of talent but we are raising fund for Treehouse a Seattle organization that works with youth in foster care.  Proceeds for this event will benefit Treehouse’s “Little Wishes Program”, we will be purchasing as many Dance Classes, Piano Lessons, and School Band Programs as possible, and we have a great start as Stone Gossard (who was invited to perform at this event but is touring in Australia and not able to participate) has already sent in a check to Treehouse for $2000.00

Bring a can a food for Northwest Harvest while you’re at it! There will be opportunities to donate more to Treehouse at the event.
